His career has taken him to every corner of the world, from Iowa to China, and has been anything but conventional. Brewer’s performances are informed by his passion for teaching. In 2004, he founded Brewer Inter national with this purpose: To find, develop, and deliver the most exciting vocal talents to the professional world of music and performance.
In this masterclass, David Lee Brewer focuses mainly on opera and musical theatre interpretation and will work with singers on technique, expression and presentation.
“The voice is an instrument of speech, but it is also used in song. As my pupils’ mentor and teacher I am concerned not only about the application of technical and musical knowledge, but also about the student’s holistic personality.”
